Procurement
It is in charge of negotiating with suppliers and partners and of carrying out the corresponding purchases.
Technical
It is composed of engineers and managers. This department is in charge of developing the production activity, of carrying out studies for work optimization, planning, project supervision, adherence to deadlines, technical specifications and taking of measurements.
Quality
The monitoring of the applicable regulations (Txdot in the case of Texas) gains in value when implementing specific protocols developed according to our own experience and knowledge, and they guarantee the improvement and maintenance of the highest levels of quality in our work. The execution of our Inspection Point Programs will be suited to the needs of each client, and depending on the development of each project, SILVAS TRUCKING LLC will implement its own complementary program.
Environment
This department is in charge of ensuring that the natural environment is preserved by minimizing the environmental impact which any of the projects may cause. Both the implementation of prevention points and applicable corrective measures will be carried out within the framework of the Prevention Plan developed by the company.
Administration & Accounting
It is in charge of controlling and managing through analytical and general accounting. It ensures that the accounting is performed in compliance with the applicable laws and regulations. This department supports the decision-making process for the financial needs of the company.
Human Resources
It is in charge of the staff selection process for every area and section of the company. Also, this department is in charge of analyzing the staff conditions, with monitoring and assessment initiatives, as well as of developing policies for professional development (motivation, training…).
Safety
It is an essential part of the working environment for each and every employee involved in the activities of SILVAS TRUCKING LLC and it is in charge of the continuing training of the members of our human team. All our documents and standards are created according to our Safety Plan, which is developed jointly with our associate consultant and which meets the requirements established by the OSHA for each of the activities of the company.
